The BC Soccer
teams are collecting gently used and new soccer equipment such
as uniforms, shorts, warm-ups, balls, shinguards and more will
be distributed to the youth soccer program (ages 8-15) in Jersey

Shinguards must be professionally
manufactured, age and size appropriate, not altered to decrease
protection, worn under the stockings with the bottom edge
no higher than two inches above the ankle. The shinguard must
cover at least 60% of the area starting two inches above the
ankle and extending to the kneecap.Shinguards
must meet NOCSAE specifications.
News Alumni Randi Patterson
Named Player of the Week in USL-1
The BC
graduate was named Player of the Week (ending May 12th and
again week ending June 29) of USL First Division, playing
with Charleston Battery of South Carolina, Randi scored 2
goals in the 3-1 victory over Miami FC Blues this past Friday.
Patterson
came to the Charleston Battery from Major League Soccer’s
New York Red Bulls. Patterson spent his rookie season with
New York in 2007 but did not see action in any games. In 2006,
he helped guide the Carolina Dynamo to an unbeaten season
(14-0-2) in the PDL, finishing third in goals and points with
15 goals and three assists in 14 games. His efforts garnered
All-Conference and All-League honors.
