Summer 2010 Schedule
of Events...
With the
new year upon us, time to begin planning for a new season.
Before long, the school year will be over and summer soccer
events will be in full force in preparation for the 2010 fall
season.
Questions...
** Notes
for Incoming Freshman Players and Parents... **
- Focus
90 Soccer Camp is a great opportunity to get started, Incoming
Freshman get registration priority but remember to register
early as it does sell out. For info, visit www.Focus90Soccer.com
- Captain's
Practices are all optional, however highly recommended as
a great way to start.
- All
Players must have their medical/physical paperwork with
the school nurse prior to Tryouts... any player missing
that information will NOT be permitted to tryout.
- All
Incoming Freshman interested in being considered for the
team must attend tryout dates.
** Notes
for Returning Players and Parents... **
Beginning
with a mandatory meeting for all current BC soccer players
on June 2nd at the school cafeteria after school. This is
a mandatory meeting for all players wishing to be considered
for the fall team.
All levels
should follow the Summer Fitness plan to stay in peak physical
shape. Captain's Practice days will be held on weekend and
a weekday evenings at TBA and will run until sunset at Crusaders
Stadium field.
Mandatory
Fitness (Beep) Test for returning players will be held on
June 14 as test to where their fitness level is, then re-tested
on Saturday, August 21 to evaluate improvement.
Returning
players, (fall Soph, Juniors and Seniors) will be able to
participate in two summer tournaments; Bergen's Best held
on the campus of Ramapo High School in late June and Toms
River held at surrounding fields of the Ocean County shore
town in mid-August. Players can also attend the Pocono Camp,
a sleep away camp held on the campus of Marywood University
in Scranton, PA in late July.
The summer
will cap off with Tryouts, held on Sunday, August 22 for all
levels, this is also the first practice. Players making the
teams (Varsity, JV & Frosh) will begin training for pre-season
scrimmages and prepare for the season. |
